In-School Tutoring

Using our award-winning curriculum and hands-on activities, we provide in-school reading and math tutoring at high-priority elementary school campuses to help close the educational gap for students who most need our support.

After-School Tutoring

Personalized math and reading learning plans provide children with the extra support they need to excel beyond the school day.

Summer Bridge

At Beacon Hill, learning does not take a summer vacation. Through our 3-week day camps, students continue the learning process in a fun and engaging manner.

Our goal is to help all Beacon Hill participants reach grade-level proficiency or above in both math and reading.

Our public schools have been failing black and brown students for decades. We believe that while talent is distributed equally, opportunity is not, and we are dedicated to ending this inequity.

With a customized learning plan, each Beacon Hill “Scholar” will learn to read, practice reading comprehension, and study mathematics. Certified professionals, assisted by trained volunteers, provide two to three hours of weekly tutoring using integrated exercises, workbooks, and storybooks. We use the Gideon curriculum which is fully TEKS-aligned (Texas Essential Knowledge & Skills) and is utilized, for a fee, in Gideon centers across the metroplex (and country).
